So, I was on one of the Army Wife Forums that I frequent tonight, and I saw something that really got to me.....

Another wife posted that one of the soldiers in her husbands company made a post on Facebook about one of his soldiers getting killed by an IED....the wife of that soldier had not been notified, but saw that post. Thats a hell of a way to find out that the love of your life is not coming home.

I was absolutely shocked and horrified that this man had the gall to write that on facebook, especially knowing that the wife of that deceased soldier was on his friends list.

All soldiers are taught, in depth, about OPSEC when they join. This soldier completely violated that.

My heart goes out to that family, and I hope that soldier at least loses rank over what he did.

Absolutely. I am beyond disappointed in that guy. Thank God he's not stationed where My husband is....I might have to go give him a piece of my mind.

I really hope his Chain of Command lays into him..and hard.

I am thankful that no one in Ray & Ryan's unit would ever do that. Even though some of them are dumb as dirt lol... They have a heart!

Sorry to hear that.. My hubby is prior Military  and he said you are right when it comes to talking about a death.... The solider talking about can get in MAJOR trouble.. I hope they reprimand his ass for this..All military prior or enlisted are still family and I pray for this soldiers family and all in his unit..
