Let your roots grow down into Him,
and let your lives be built on Him.
Then your faith will grow strong
in the Truth you were taught [haTorah],
and you will overflow with thankfulness.
 ~ Colossians 2:7 NLT

God rescued us from dead-end alleys
and dark dungeons.
He's set us up in the Kingdom of the Son
He loves so much,
the Son who got us out of the pit we were in,
got rid of the sins we were doomed to keep repeating.
 ~ Colossians 1:13-14 MSG

I am my Beloved's, and my Beloved is mine.
 ~ Song of Solomon 6:3

[YHWH] blesses those
who realize their need for Him,
for the Kingdom of Heaven
is given to them.
 ~ Matthew 5:3 NLT

But when the Spirit [of YHWH's Holiness] controls our lives,
He produces ... in us:
love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.
Here there is no conflict with the law.
 ~ Galatians 5:22-23 NLT

As we know Jesus better,
His divine power,
gives us everything we need
for living a godly life.
He has called us to receive
His own glory and goodness!
And by that same mighty power,
He has given us all of His rich and wonderful promises.
He has promised that you will escape
the decadence all around you
caused by evil desires
and that you will share in His divine nature.
 ~ 2 Peter 1:3-4 NLT

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, [she] is a new creation;
the old has gone, the new has come!
 ~ 2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV

So you also should consider yourselves
to be dead to the power of sin
and alive to God through Christ Jesus.

Do not let sin control the way you live;
do not give in to sinful desires.
Do not let any part of your body
become an instrument of evil to serve sin.
Instead, give yourselves completely to God,
for you were dead,
but now you have new life.
So use your whole body
as an instrument to do what is right
for the glory of God.
Sin is no longer your master,
for you no longer live under the requirements
of the law [of sin and death].
Instead, you live under the freedom of God’s grace.
[able and desiring to choose lifestyle of blessings]

 ~ Romans 6:11-14 NLT

A final word: Be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm
against all strategies of the devil.
For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies,
but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world,
against mighty powers in this dark world,
and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.
Put on salvation as your helmet,
and take the Sword of the Spirit,
which is the Word of God. [haTorah]
 ~ Ephesians 6:10-12,17 NLT
