christmas

 Its that time of year.  Everyone is shopping, having fun with friends.  Me?  No extended family.   I would love to go to NC to see what I do have, but never any money to spare.  Mother in law died last march, and the rest of that side of the family, well lets just say not so friendly.  Never hear from any of them.  Have a step dd and a step grandson.  Ever see them?  Nope.  Doesnt need us I guess.  So just me and my kids and hubby.   Now dont get me wrong, christmas is always great with my kids.But I miss the big christmas'.  Now we are broke, I have 2 layaways I cant pick up.  Im so frustrated.  Cant even go to the grocery today because of no money.  I hate having things to do and no money.  I dont even know where it all goes.  I would love to be in charge, but with all of the debt we have now it would be impossible.  I love him, but he is the worst with money.  I dont know what to do.  And he gets himself in o deep, that he is so stressed Im afraid he is  gonna have a stroke or somthing.  I dont know what to do.

Now he just now called, I mean right now and he has had an accident, a wreck on the way to work.  He is ok, thank god.  But the car is messed up.  Now what do we do?  Till later!!!

Ok he is ok  and the car has minimal damage.  So all is well.  But now we have to turn it into the insurance and now it will be going up...great!!!  But at least we have it at this time...right?  oh well.  Maybe I will rob a bank or somthing today!!!

 Hang in ther my friend. PRAY, BELIEVE GOD IS WITH YOU,BELIEVE HE WILL ANSWER YOUR PRAYERS! I have been right where you are, we went an entire year with both of us out of work, it was terrible, so I know what you are saying. You just need to Pray & Believe that GOD will help you through these difficult times.

   I am so Thankful that your husband is ok and not hurt! The car has minimal damage, that is good, if it is drivable, try to fix what you can on your own. If the accident was the other drivers fault then they will have to pay to fix your car, just hang in there!

    Look for a local food bank, go there and tell them you are out of food and need help, I know that is hard to do, but we had to, and when you need to, that is what they are there for. Some are at churches some are other places, just google it your city and food banks. I hope that helps you with that.

     As far as the money, sit your husband down and have an honest talk with him, tell him you would like to take over the finances for awhile to take some stress off of him and that you are not taking no for an answer. That you are half of the marriage and that you are capable of doing this and that he just needs to concentrate on his job right now and that is all. Then look at all of the bills, put them all in order. This is how Brian (my hubby) paid them when we were out of work.(remember, I was sick) Housepayment,groceries,electric,gas. Then minium payments on what was left in order until the money was gone. then the rest of the bills moved up to the front so that they would be the first to get minium payments the next payday after the 4 main bills were paid, that way at least everyone got something everymonth & noone could take us to collections. I hope this helps some, it kept us going for a year, we still have our house & no collectors came calling.
