Today I finally decided to make another appointment with my gyno to discuss my hysterectomy. He originally suggested it 2 years ago, but I was scared of it. My uterus is prolapsed and I keep having issues with my periods. I used to get such bad cramps he put me on vicodin for them because that was the only thing that would work. Those finally stopped though. The past few months though I've been getting these horrible twinges in my back, of course right before my period, so instead of abdominal cramps it's localized now in my back. Plus a few other things going nuts with my system. So I go next month for a consultation to discuss this and decide when to do it. I never imagined that when I was 30 that I would be having this done, but I'm thankful that we have all the kids we wanted (sometimes though I think I have more than I want, lol) and hubby had his vasectomy also so we were done.
