Shhhh.... I've been cloning recipes again! The Kitchen Witch has been busy!
General Foods International Coffee Clones

As an avid lover of coffee, I occasionally enjoy a cup of Cafe Vienna while curled up in my big chair. The downside of this is the flippin cost of General Food International Coffee, or what ever they are naming it today. Those cool little cans cost a FORTUNE.... but do not despair... cheapy the cheapskate (LOL) has found the recipe to make this and a few other flavors. I'm posting this as I am enjoying a cup of Vanilla Caramel Cafe. So, next time you are at the store and Coffeemate or your storebrand is on sale, gather the following and you will be stocked for quite a while. (These recipes called for CoffeeMate Creamers but after some research and comparisons, I have discovered that my Giant Eagle storebrand is identical to Coffeemate, including the fancy flavors).
NOTES: These recipes make one of the little cans... if you double them, they fill a regular mason jar! You'll be surprised how much money you save by making it yourself. I actually used Foldgers Instant Coffee that I had in my cabinet because hubby didn't like it. So, trust me on this, you do not have to use really expensive instant coffee!
For each recipe, grind the instant coffee into a powder, then mix it together with the rest of the ingredients. (I actually put all the ingredients in the grinder but mixing them with a whisk works just as good). To serve, add boiling water to 2 heaping tablespoons of mix!
