I'm posting this in hopes that maybe someone will know what is it that's causing this and I'll be able to get him help and have him treated. This is my four year old son. He has had this cough for two months now :( The Dr. had tried antibiotic, steroids, breathing treatments...EVERYTHING and he has not gotten any better. This video was taken at 1:30 a.m. He has a little bit of a cough during the day but it gets really bad around 11 p.m. and then starts getting better around 9 a.m. Any ideas or advice would be greatly appreciated!
Love,
A very concerned mommy <3
Comments:
Could it be possible that dry air is causing it? Maybe the heater running for the past two months has caused it? Or mold spores?
Thanx ya'll for the though and prayers.
BlueMeadow, I don't think it's that for two reason.
1. I live in florida , we hardly ever run the heat! lol
2. We live in Florida, the part that's always could
go get some eucalptus oil put some drops in a pot of water a few times a day on the stove. dd gets that kinda cough. i do the drops and put the menthoal rub on her chest and feet(dd 2) it took her from the day before thanksgiving to the week before xmas to feel better. we also do breathing treatments she seems to do better with inhaler treatments verses the nebulizer
I had a friend on FaceBook tell me that her daughter sounded just like him and nothing helped. Tey found blac mold and once that was gone she got better. I'm going to look into that, we live in hot and humid Florida, so that wouldn't surprise.
I don't know... Hope you and the MD are able to figure out what it is soon.
