Depression
It creeps inside without notice. Taking into you the feeling of despair
Your heart begins to break, and no one is there
Crying out deep within
That's when it reminds you of your past sins
You try to push away the unwanted thoughts
They are relentless, telling you what they brought
Brokenness and heartache fill your soul
Then you're reminded, you've nowhere to go
Your family has turned you aside,
There's nowhere on earth for you to hide
You see these feelings of dread and despair,
Ground you to a place, and no one who cares.
All you need is a measure of light
To take away these feelings of fright
Darkness fell upon you that day
It was your choice when you decided to stray
You forget the love he has left for you
Where did you put it
You just can't get though
Than you see the light in the din
You remember he had forgiven you of all sin
