- 17 here this morning !!!! I got woke up by a cold blast of air as my son went out the door to put his daughter on the bus this morning . NOt my idea of a good wake up so i crawled out of bed, foung out my husband was not going to work that morning but go in the afternoon. He,s a private contractor who does windows for a living . The bussiness has been going for over 50 + years, his father started it the old school way, knocking on doors and asking the shop keepers if they would like their windows of their shops done , Corning Window Cleaners was born .

When the weather,s beastly cold like this , they cannot work even though they use hot water ( and that,s about all ) to clean the windows with .No vnegar or special additives ( only comet when it calls for it and then very sparingly ) and use cloth diapers to wipe the windows dry with .

Had the usual breakfast , yogurt and coffee , then braved the eliments cause Fred needed uniforms to wear for the week to work so off to the laundry matt i go w/ a pair of pajama bottoms on and a pair of sweats over them , long sleeved sweater on and heavy coat ad ski mask to protect my face . Ralph was going to mom and dad.,s to look in on them , make sure everything is ok w/ them , then to the laundry matt to pick up me and wash . Got home and canceld a few appointments so could sstay home !

Made sure every one had a hot lunch of chicken noodle soup , had a burger w/o bread and the last piece of cake in the house so now that,s all gone thank heaven . Managed to have soup w/o crackers , that,s a 1st and am trying to get to where i can watch someone else have dessert and not want some or as much . 2 corn muffins for snack and a lg glass of water, then for supper i had 1c spaghetti, topped w/ veggies left over from last nights supper and a salad w/ rest of parm chicken breast cut up ontop . Snack was last 2 corn muffins and cup of hot cocoa , will have instant brkst drink to take meds before bed  then i am done for the night . Also got some dancing in , about an hrs worth before back said that was enough for 1 night , did some belly dancing moves and some disco , going to work on prolonging endurance on that so can last longer ,

Have to look and see what i can do w/ supper tomorrow , usually have breakfast fur supper on tues . Would love to have waffels and the works but have to forgo any other startch for the day if we do ( at least ill have to ) then i can have 2 waffels ( homemade ) w/ 1 tblsp syrup ( sorry guys cant do the egg white stuff , still have to have the real stuff ) and of course you cannot have waffels or pancakes w/o sausage or bacon so will have only 2 sausages on my plate , when its done then its done. Will save rest of waffels to nosh on during week as snack , and then have only 1 w/ just butter or honey . or maybe jelly or non dairy no sugar cool whip . If i work this right and can shed 20  a month then i m getting somwhere . Daddy did it when he was on this diet, so can i . Also want to get hula hoop had one when i was a kid and never gave a thought to the heathful benefits of it . So now between shaking my booty and walking and then hula hooping , i should get some where w/ an exercise plan .

Cant wait to get back into some of my clothes !! Im hanging on to them cause i know i can do this , its getting so i can finally get a reg sz bath towel all the way around me from top to bottom , that,s an accomplishment ! I no longer walk out of the bathroom feeling like im only 1/2 covered .

So until tomorrow , hope you have a good one , i may start posting recipes on here that i have used or come across and be warned they will be the reg ingredient recipes but i measure just about everything anymore so you can judge for your self as to how much you should have . Elaine
