Beauty

Beauty is the look on a bride's face

When she lovingly says, "I do"

Beauty is a rose petal soft as lace

Preserved for eternity, in the good book

Beauty is a world that accepts each race

Each wondrously created by God's own hand

Beauty is dandelions blowing as children give chase

The miniature parachutes drifting in the wind

Beauty is the night sky when the moon is at full phase

Better still when watched with someone you love

Beauty is an old woman, eyes shining with perfect grace

As she gazes upon the child fast asleep in her lap

Beauty is the sound of laughter that no one can erase

It bubbles up through the soul and playfully escapes

Beauty is seeing beyond imperfections for the sheer experience

Knowing that even when thorns were created, God was in awe
