Ok so she's turning 2 the first week of Feb. Since the beginning of the week she's been having mild tantrums, whining(annoying as u know), crying bloody murder for no reason at all, and having fits when she doesn't get what she wants or have it her way. I know this is normal, but Damn it gets annoying n then she wants to be on top of me, like right now while I'm writing this n I've had times like I can't breath n a bit clostophobic (spelling?) I been doing the right things with discipline n I have patience, but Damn. I love her to pieces, but she can drive me crazy n I feel like I can take it anymore. She does poop herself out n knocks out, but Damn........I don't know maybe I just needed to let out.

LOL momma.......you let it out here on CM every single time you need to!  Terrible two's are a real trial of patience that is for sure.  But ya know what?  For the most part that whirling durbish still thinks your the greatest thing next to sliced bread.  I remember when my oldest was about 14.....I'd of taken those terrible two years in a new york minute over the terrible teens LOL.

Don't loose your cool with her, if you get out of control, she is in control.

There are a lot of positive disipline books out there, try amazon, you can read a few pages. Children are very frustrated for various reasons, when you get frustrated because of them, it hurts them. Try to understand what she wants, they need stimulation, and maybe she wants you.

When you see a tantrum brewing, try to defuse it before she blows. Distract her with something else. I use to just hold my little girl, and hug her, she would forget about what she was getting upset at.

And, if you think 2 is bad, wait for 4!
