a break through in life...

Tomorrow is Valentine's Day.

Tomorrow is our 24th wedding anniversary.

Today, we've had a break through in life.   LOL!  I say that, but seriously, for the past 24 years I've put up with crap from hubby.  He is cheap. VERY cheap.  He is a control freak and he is a great dad/hubby at the same time.    He is a work-a-holic as well.

Recent health issues with me, made him realize just how short life really is.

Now he's decided it's MY TURN!   He is going to treat me like a Queen!  Whatever I want, whatever I need....and I say it's about time!  LOL!

I know I won't be greedy.  I know I"ll be practical.  But hey, if I don't feel like cooking one night, there is no reason he cannot take us out to dinner.   There is no reason he cannot get me some jewelry if I choose.

He is very selfish (wasn't always that way) and he will change.   Change or be changed!  :)    He sees how his  mother is and does not want to end up like her.  He sees how fast the girls are growing and doesn't want to miss any of that.  He has dreams to travel as well, even tho he is more of a homebody than I am!  :)  There is hope for him.

He sees that he needs to change.  He's willing to try.  And if spoiling me is going to help, go for it!  I say it's about time.

So, with Valentine's Day and our Anniv. tomorrow, I'll let you know how it goes later in the week.....
