I typed up this letter last week as I was preparing my website. Later in the week, we found out that my grand-father is dying. He does not have very much time. I raced to get my parents to Texas, where we are originally from. They are with him now. He has good days and bad, but the doctors have warned the family that when he starts going downhill, it will be fast. Please be praying for my family. This is a truly devastating time for us all. Thank you and God Bless all of you and your families.

Spring Bling: Feathers, Flowers, Hemp, and Sunshine
Hello friends! It's good to drop by to say hello from time to time... so here I am! How are YOU? I hope that you are all doing well! I pray that 2011 has been a blessing to you so far and that the days ahead are even more amazing for you and your loved ones.
2011 has, in fact, been a great year for me so far. It is quite an experience getting to continually watch my little man grow up. He is 3 years old now (WHERE does the time GO?!) and he's just the smartest little boy I've ever met. Yeah, yeah, I know... every Mommy says this. But seriously, how many 3 year olds do you know that can tell you the make of any car on the road simply by looking at it??? Nope, I'm not joking!
That little one keeps us BUSY around here. It's really difficult to keep up with a three year old when you are in a lot of pain. God blesses me every day with the ability to stand up, chase, catch, prevent, and provide for this child when he happens to need it at any given moment. It's strange... One moment, I can bound up and race full speed across a room to keep my child from danger. Yet, mere seconds after I complete that task, I collapse again, exhausted. God is just SO good!!
Another bit of awesomeness from the past two months: Steven and I just celebrated our 4th Wedding Anniversary on February 23, 2011. Again, how time flies!! It has been an amazing experience so far and I know that time will only strengthen our bond. I marvel at how much we have both grown in four short years. I am proud of our love and friendship. God has blessed us.
Now that we have the personal updates covered, I am so excited to tell you what the next few months have in store for Kamama Creations!
~ THE Website! Kamama Creations will be launching a new website this month. It is such a cool website featuring my products, photography, and, for the first time through Kamama, my writing. There will be a HUGE sale to celebrate, as well as some fun contests and events. I can't wait!
~ The Spring & Summer Collection! The one thing that I love about hot weather is the BEACH! And I Love my beach jewelry! This year, I will be releasing a collection that is full of fun, exotic, easy to wear jewelry that is perfect for the beach... and anywhere else you want to go.
~Hemp! I love hemp jewelry. I always have. (I still have necklaces that I bought at the beach 16 years ago!) And I LOVE making hemp jewelry. It is like meditation to me to be able to sit and knot, quietly thinking, while listening to music or watching a movie. I make a LOT of it. Recently, during one of those sessions, I thought to myself, "You make so many hemp pieces. Why in the world aren't you selling them????" So now, I will be selling them! ^.^ Hemp is so easy to wear and looks good on everyone! I will have collections for women, men, and children.
~ Hair Accessories! Why haven't I done this earlier? Well, probably because I have kept my hair pretty short ever since I was pregnant with my son. It was just so much easier. One day, I just decided that I wanted to try and grow it out again. (I am not a patient person, see...) Now, I have been growing it out and having so much fun with it again. I forgot how much fun it is to decorate and play with my hair. Now, I am making my own pieces featuring feathers, flowers, and a lot of beautiful color combinations! These are perfect to jazz up any hairstyle and they'll all be on sale SOON!
Until the new website goes live, please continue to visit Kamama's Boutique at the eCrater STORE. You can also keep up with all of the updates at Kamama's Facebook page HERE. Don't miss the sneak peeks that will be posted very soon there! I am still taking orders and they will be filled as quickly as possible. If you haven't visited the boutique in a while, then you have missed a LOT of new inventory. Go check it out!
Until we meet at the new website, have a great week! May God continue to bless you and your loved ones!
Thanks!
