First time for everything

Hi all, or whoever wants to read about my exciting life.  My name is Ranita, I live in Northwest Nebraska.  I am the single mother of 5, from ages 25 down to one 18 year old senior, and a grammy to 4 of the most beautiful grandbabies ever created.

Yes, I've always been single.  Never got married.  The track record I have kept has never been the best, but has went significantly up here in the last year.  I have been engaged once or twice, but something always held me back.  I just couldnt see myself with them in 30 or 40 years. 

Heres where the story gets interesting.  I have always had a thing for my best friend for the last 26 years.  In fact, when I was pregnant with my oldest back in 85, everyone at college assumed she was his, for the simple fact, I was usually hanging out with him and his roommate.  That was pretty far from the truth, since nothing ever happened between the two of us till 90.

Flash forward 20 some years.  Last May, he came up to my area for hunting, and we hung out for a couple days together, and he finally admitted to me that he loved me, and always had.  Imagine that!  I told him I felt the same way, and bada bing bada boom, we have been together ever since, and the great thing about it is that it feels right.  The bad thing is the fact we've waited so long, but better late than never.

So we're both going to get married for the first time next year..Yes fairy tales do come true.  Or good things come to those who wait...and wait...and keep waiting..
