Question: Should a bad driver be allowed to drive?

Options:

Hell no. Revoke her license!

Sure, everyone deserves another chance.

Only after taking another driving class and passing a test.

Suspend for a short time, she'll learn a lesson.

This is a true story. A girl I know has been in two car accidents in the past month and was at fault both times. These were not her first accidents. She says shes just had bad luck with cars lately. She's out car shopping right now.

How do you feel about this? Personally Im furious. It doesnt take an expert to realize she is a bad driver, so why hasnt someone taken her license? Why is she allowed to get behind the wheel of a car still and put the rest of us in danger? Our children. Anyone could be her next victim, accident or not there are victims and car accidents are not safe so why does she get to go out there and not be held accountable for her driving??? Isnt it just a matter of time until she hits someone again, and maybe next time not everyone will walk away.

I told her to get a bike, but of course she ignored me. My husband teasingly told her she was the worst driver ever and she went off on him, cussing him and blocking him on facebook. I want to know why the law doesnt step in? How many accidents does a person have to cause before their license is revoked??

Mar. 18, 2011 at 5:41 PM no? not that bad? Am I over reacting? I feel like its as bad as drinking and driving! Seriously, Ive know alcholics who didnt get in as many car wrecks as her. Nobody cares? I say one thing about how I disagree with spanking and people blow up my page but nobody cares about a habitually bad driver being let loose on the roads even after shes caused two wrecks in a few weeks time? I guess. I guess I shouldn't be suprised either, the state of Indiana issued my grandma a drivers licence when she was in a nursing home for Alzhiemers and couldn't even remember my name. Its scary. They'll let anybody drive. You never know who is on the other side of that yellow line. The roads just aren't safe and I guess I should come to grips with that.
