I just did all 5 miles on Leslie Sansone's walk at home... 5 day slim down. With the warm up and cool down the total workout time is 82 minutes!!!!


I still have to strength train today.. so tonight after the kids go to bed I am going to do the 20 min core section on Jackie Warner's dvd! So far, I'm still excited and i have one day left to exercise this week before my break!!

82 min that is great! So how does that Leslie Sansone's walk at home work? Did you get your strength training in?

While I too didn't get in what I had planned I still did another 1 hr walk with my kids and my sons friend. So didn't get a workout that raised my heart rate yet but that is what i have planned today. I am doing 3 x 15min bike rides. I have already done one set so just have two more to do. My son wanted to join me so he pulled his smart cycle from his room into the living room so he could ride his bike too and get in his exercise.

Sorry I didn't get back to you til now! Great job on the exercise. I say any bit counts. Walks with the kids are great and that's really cute that your son wanted to exercise with you. When I am doing my Walk at home DVD's my son with join in too. I love it! It teaches them healthy habits too.  :o)

 

Leslie Sansone's Walking DVDs are Aerobics work outs. The five day slim down has a mile you can do each morning or you can do the whole thing at one. It incorporates easy moves like marching in place, side steps, kicks, knee lifts, hamstring curls, and into a light jog. It's perfect for me cuz I don't like complicated moves and i don't have much room in my town home to really go crazy. You can either do low impact or you can really ramp it up and get into a good sweat. Whatever your body feels comfortable doing at the time. I really like it.

I didn't get my Jackie Warner strength training in on Friday (did it today) however, I did all of the Five day slim down which does target certain areas to strength train. But, I wouldn't exactly call it that. LOL! Worked for me though!
