needing a fresh start

I hate it here in Texas.  I have lived here my whole life, and it wouldn't  be so bad if my extended family lived here.   But, they don't , they moved to Florida 10yrs ago.  So, here I sit miserable.  I am miserable because the only family I have here are my inlaws.  They don't care about my children, their idea for wishing my children a happy birthday is to tell my husband on his facebook page : tell Lizzy happy b-day for me.  I guess she forgets our phone number when it is my childrens birthday.  They have 3 other grandkids beside mine, and they do everything for them; buy them clothes, throw fabolous parties, attend school functions, etc.  I have to practically beg them to come to a soccer game, I have to appogize to my children when they have a growth spurt and they have to wear pants that are too short to school.  I hate it that they favor my sil's kids.  I want to be in Florida were my extended family is.  They would give their right arm to be able to attend one of my kids activities.  I want my family raised close to grandparents and extended relatives that love and care for my kids, my husbands family clearly doesn't.
