I haven't update on here in a long time so Im going to add excerpts from my blog instead of re-typing it all! lol
JAN 2011
Now where did we last leave off? Oh yes I had just found out I was
pregnant again with Josie being only 4 months! Well I am glad to say we
have welcomed our second blessing Levi Judd to the world Nov. 23, 2010. 9
days before Josie's first birthday. It was a pretty hard pregnancy. I
yet again had HP ( extreme morning sickness) and with a baby already at
home it was not an easy task. I lost 25lbs and was 6 in and out of bed for 6 months And it didn't get any easier. After having
a fall and landing on my stomach I went into pre-term labor at 29
weeks. So from 29 weeks till 35 weeks after the Terb stopped working and
we got the steroid shots I was on bed-rest trying to prevent Levi from
coming. ( to read full birth story go to that journal place lol)
Levi is an awesome little baby. But he takes the attachment / being a mamas boy to the extreme! I cant even get a 5 min shower with out him screaming for me. Hell I cant even talk about leaving the room before he decides to whine letting me know he dosnt want me to leave! Thank goodness Josie is such a daddy's girl and can play contently by herself! Other then that Levi is an amazing little guy. He eats every 3-4 hours during the day and will sleep 6 hour stretches at night ( yes I know you hate me for having a new born who pretty much sleeps through the night!) He eats about 5-6 oz every feeding. We are formula feeding do to latch issues. And yes he did have real latch issues. We even still some time have issues and it takes time getting him to latch to the bottles if he's over hungry.
He also had to stay in the hospital for a week at 6 through 7 weeks do to a UTI. We found that he has a Urinary reflex. Which means his urine flows back up to his kidney from his bladder. It is a stage 3 so it should fix itself in 1-3 years worse case surgery. Unfortunately till then we he has to be on a low dose maintenance antibiotic. And he might have to be circumcised :( But what ever is best to prevent infection and possible kidney damage we will do.
Now for Miss Josie! My little princess! She is now almost 14 months old! ( On Feb. 2nd) She is a big babbler and is trying so hard to actually talk. She can say Mama, Dada, Ball, Dar ( dog). She wants to walk so bad as well and has taken a few steps but just cant get the courage to take off and go but I believe it will be anytime now. She is working on her molars right now and is having a hard time with them. She already has 4 top and 4 bottom teeth!
She is a major ham! She loves to trick you and play games with you. She has her daddy's sense of humor when it comes to laughing at other people's expense. She is a sweet heart. Loves to share and make other happy! She LOVES LOVES LOVES her little brother. She is always coming up and giving him hugs and kisses and trying to share her toys with him. She will bring me his bottles if she sees it sitting there. She likes to steal his Binky just to be able to give it back to him!
She had a wonderful birthday. We took her to see Yo Gabba Gabba Live. She wasnt sure about all the clapping and cheering and people, but loved the show itself! We also had a small "party" at my parents house and my great grandparents were in town so they got to be there and also meet Levi. She got more toys to know what to do with!!
FEB 2011
After nearly two years of struggling things are finally looking better!
Jt has always said it will get better I promise! And he is right. This
is the year of change. Money issues are finally being resolved and we
are finally going to be back to a place where we can rebuild our
savings. We got our tax return back at lets just say we were VERY
surprised and happy! We're able to get the kiddos new diapers stashes!
And go on vacation and put alot in savings!
We are going on our first family vacation since we have been married! Jt
and I in the nearly 9 years we've been together have only been on 2
trips together ( both before we were married) and 2 work trips out of
town, but I dont count those. Once to Flagstaff for my 18th birthday and
once to England that same year to visit my family. We never had a honey
moon and have never taken a family trip. So in April we are going to
visit my Grandma and her husband in Washington and get to visit with my
cousin and her family! We are so looking forward to this well deserved
trip!
We also have a potential out of state move. Jt has a lead on a job in WA
( another reason for our trip to look at the area we would be moving to
and check out places to rent. Whether we choose and apartment or house
we haven't decided) This job has benefits and would be paying more then
he his getting now but we wont know more for a little bit. If this does
go through we probably would be moving the end of this year! We both are
AZ natives and have always wanted to move away from here and I cant
believe that its becoming more and more likely! While we both would very
much miss our family and friends we have here we really think this is a
great move and adventure for our little family.
As for the kids they are still growing like weeds. Josie is "walking".
She will walk about 5 feet distances at the max but hey that's a start!
She is starting to try and say more and more words. She knows mama,
dada, Ball, Dog, What's That? , and I swear the other day she said "I
love you" but I could have been hearing things LOL
Levi is doing wonderful. He is getting longer and longer everyday and
still a skinny little thing. He has the biggest smile and his starting
to laugh; it is the cutest little laugh too! He tries so hard to roll
from his back to belly but gets stuck on his side. He refuses to be on
his belly! He will scream if that happens. I cant wait to see and watch
them grow even more into there little personalities!
MARCH 2011
Both kids have a checkups this week. Levi's 4 month and Josie's 15
month. We also have to schedule a apt for Levi with his urologist. We
never scheduled his circumcision procedure because after a long talk
with the urologist about our veiws on it and if it was even worth the
risk being as he would be put under he said that him having it done isnt
gonna change his kidney reflex and isnt gonna make it worse so he
recommends not even doing it! Such a relief that I dont have to alter my
little boy! lol Yes I know this is a weird thing to be excited about
but its been a long stressful road with all our options of treatment for
him and other things so everything is finally in order and he just has
to stay on the antibiotics till the reflex is fixed hopefully no more
then a year.
Both kiddos are teething. Josie has just cut 2 molars ( on the left side
top and bottom) and is cutting 2 more molars and her eye teeth. And
Levi is cutting his bottom right tooth. Thank goodness for amber
teething necklaces and chamomile! lol
Josie is officially a toddler!! She has been walking none stop! Bittersweet because my baby is walking but she is
also growing to fast! She still liking the idea of staying up
ridiculously late and sleeping in. Guess she gets my night owlness from
me lol She has started to throw tantrums. The dreaded terrible twos have begun early! I
know this is kinda mean but they are kinda funny to see because she
will throw herself around, pause and look to see if we are still
watching and if we aren't she stops , gets close to us to make sure we
can see her and throws herself back down into the fit LOL She also now
when she is about to do or touch something she knows she's not supposed
to will shake her head no and do it anyways and laughs. She also got
her first hair cut. Bawled her eyes out the whole time!
Levi is doing wonderful. Not rolling belly to back but has rolled back
to belly a few times but then gets mad cause he realizes he is on his
belly! He is "talking" up a storm! He laughs at everything and anything.
SO THATS ALL THATS GONE ON THIS YEAR SO FAR! LOL
