potty training

well i've decided to start to potty train my son we're taking it laid back and bringing him to the potty about every 30 mins. he hasnt done anything yet but he loves to sit on the potty and read elmo goes potty. He has come really close to going to the potty but not close enough. How did you potty train your kids?

May. 7, 2007 at 12:19 PM we potty trained my son about the same way but we got the my first potty book for boys, and they had a dvd we bouth and my son loved to be read to on the potty.  we also bought  elmo goes to the potty. i'd say your doin a great job keep at it and he'll be potty trained in no time
