Positive Thought brings Positive Action

So as a run down, we've lost pretty much everything we owned (including most of DD's toys) when we moved to Ohio. We didn't keep much, and what we did keep is stored at my mothers house in KY. What I did allow DD to bring with us to Ohio fits in one small box.

So yesterday she comes home from school and starts rummaging through her things. She said a girl from school's house caught on fire and everyone is donating something to her. She picked out two of her precious toys and is giving it to the girl.

For someone who just went from having every toy under the sun to almost nothing, its quite humbling to see her acting so selfless. I'm very proud of my daughter!

Thats so refreshing especially when most kids today are so self absorbed and materialistic... she seems like a great kid :)

Oh wow! How amazing that a child with next to nothing would give that nothing to someone else.

I think we all could learn a lesson or two from your precious daughter.
