Obama uses false bridge collapse narrative to advocate raising taxes

Rick Moran

This is an example of a liberal narrative being so powerful and embedded that even the truth can't change it.

There was a tragic bridge collapse in Minneapolis that liberals immediately - before any investigation or proof was offered - blamed on a lack of "infrastructure spending." A later investigation proved that narrative false.

But that didn't matter to President Obama who continued the lie by trying to make the argument for tax hikes:

Remember when that bridge in Minnesota collapsed with all those people on it? And there was a big hue and cry, "How can this happen in America?" Well, the National Society of Engineers - they looked around and they give us a D when it comes to infrastructure.

The NTSB found that there was a design defect, having nothing whatsoever to do with a lack of "infrastructure spending." (H/T: Hot Air )

Leave it to Obama to use the dead bodies of people who died in a tragic accident to push his pet political theories.
