Since last year I've noticed our local Once Upon a Child go downhill, bad! I went in there a few weeks ago looking for some basics for my DD and was very surprised to find terribly faded Garanimal tops with leggings marked at $8.50 which is about twice what I pay for them new at Target.

Today I took a tote in. A few hours later I returned to pick up my buy and they told me my total offer was $4.95. I said okay and just swapped for a pair of PJ's for DD and a tee shirt for DS. I figured they had just taken a 2 pc set Dora jammies and a 2pc set Spongebob jammies. Boy was I wrong! Much to my dismay, when I finally inspected the tote they had taken 3 pair of PJ's, a girls graphics baby tee, a new fleece carters outfit and a pair of TCP leather sandals and gave me $4.95!!

I called the manager and she ran through the spiel how its all computerized but maybe one of her new hires entered all my items in as generic, not TCP Carters and Nickelodeon. I asked her to re-enter my items and offer me a credit. She said they had already been tagged and there was no way to know what was mine in today's huge pile of buys.

I am most certain they will mark the TCP sandals at $8, the carters outfit at $8, the graphics tee at $4.50, each pair of jammies at $5.50. I will never, never, never ever step foot in that store again!

I hate that place. I always go in with at least 3 bags and they give me less that 10 bucks. Uh heck no! I would rather take my chances on craiglists. It would sell better there!

Ebay, baby! Kids clothes do great in LOT on Ebay. I never took the money I just trade for other clothes and they were usually good to me but not this time. When I saw their selection was crap and overpriced I should have known..

luckily we have a Big Wheels to Butterflies. I use to sell my WAHM cloth diapers there so I am happy to buy from them instead.
