Easter 6 years ago, me and my (then BF) now DH were staying in a hotel. We had lived together for a few months & ended up having to move back to our parents (well his grandparents). Every weekend we would go stay in a hotel to get our time together and just get a break from everybody. I hadn't missed my period yet but I knew something wasn't quite right & I got a pregnancy test at the time. He had to run home & feed the animals, at that time I took the test. I called him & told him that it was positive & he was really excited. The pregnancy was really good. I was hoping for a boy but at my ultra sound I found out she was a girl. I had to have a second ultra sound around October 2005 I got so sick vomiting and diahrreah, that I became dehydrated and they had to check on her and make sure I didn't go into premature labor. She was due November 29th, and was late. On Dec. 1st, my Doctor decided he would induce on December 6th. We live 45 minutes away from where my doctor was, and luckily my DH's dad lived about 5 mins from the hospital. Since I was supposed to be there at 5:45 we decided to stay with him on the 5th. Low and Behold at 12:20 am on the 6th I went into labor. I was in pain & was trying to stay quiet and not wake up my DH, but he was so intune me and my body he woke up having sympathy pains. He immediatly decided to go to the hospital. I was so excited and nervous when we got there. I was in labor for about 14 hours. I ended up getting an epidural even though I really didn't like the idea. At 2:42PM on December 6th, 2005 Dallas Grace was born 6 pounds 6 ounces and 19 inches long. She was perfect. The doctor realized at the point that I had the rH- factor blood type. At that point we didn't realize there was anything wrong with Dallas but she does have Cerebral Palsy and I blame it on not getting the medication I should have had. When he discovered the blood thing he said I was lucky to have carried her the full term. But that's the story on my 5 yr old. Now to my next blog about my DD2

Sweet story. Thanks for sharing.

I'm sorry you didn't get the meds you should have gotten.
