The road to recovery has been interesting. Healing was miraculous, but recovery will be for the rest of my life. Im blessed not to have permanent deficits. I can take care of myself and my family, I can even drive. If you see me you cant tell I had a stroke, I dont have any visible signs. However, I will be on anti seizures for the rest of my life. I will have to have MRIs every year to monitor the multiple angiomas in my brain. I try not to focus on the negative because the positives are so overwhelming. The bigger picture is amazing and I can only praise God for His blessings. I do count it all joy. My faith and trust are in Him and Him alone. My life is in the hands of God.

Prayer, Faith, Hope and Love! My Rock, my strength my foundation is Jesus Christ, my Lord and Savior. I am amazed at what God is doing in my life. God is good always, always God is good. In my good health I took so many things for granted. Things that were "no brainers" like driving; Now driving is not only a challenge sometimes, but it can be nerve wrecking for me and whoever is driving with me. Jonathan, my 12 year old, is constantly on alert when he is with me in the car, poor kid. I avoid freeways as much as possible and really, only drive around my neighborhood, always being extra cautious and vigilant. No talking on the phone, turning up the radio, nothing but prayer! Anyways, I took a lot of things for granted. Now Im learning to value and appreciate everything more.

My time and energy are very limited. I joined fb to keep in touch with family and friends but I dont always do that. I like coming back to cafemom and journaling, its peaceful. My last journal was a year ago, so much has happened in that year. Praise God, I am  still here, alive and well; able to take care of my three kids and blessed to be married to a hard working man for 17 years. God is good!
