I'm single, a parent to one, and a college student...independent, self motovatied, fierce.

I do not find many other people that are like myself. I rarely find other african american women like myself. Most have way more kids by time they are my age, involved with some loser guy, and got nothing going on. On the other side lets say my white friends my age are all married with kids and mortages and junk.

Older women are always talking about their husband and stuff nothing I really care for. Younger people do not have kids and I may tend to talk about mine to much or when they are doing things I have already done them so I just feel old.

There are very few people that want to hang and just be fun. They usually have baggage that prevents them from being "out here" with me. I came to this conclusion from talking to a married woman with kids. She said she noticed she doesn't really get out of her circle (family) and meet other people. It made me look at the dynamics of what's going on around me.

I need some more fierce hot young single lady friends. I miss the "sex in the city" lifestyle (and friendships).

Apr. 27, 2011 at 7:43 AM Having kids tends to make people more responsible, having a kid makes them realize that they're not a kid anymore. It doesn't always happen of course, I know a woman in real life who leaves her daughter with baby sitters to go out clubbing and drinking and pretending she has no responsibilities.

I hated when a person thought I wasn't be responsibly. Just because I wasn't doing it the way you doesn't mean I am not responsible. I do things my way...to the perople that had a difference with me I don't think they are good parents anyway.

I still love to go out and have fun. I guess the type of friends I am looking for will come can't rush it *shrugs and smiles*.
