(forgot this when I posted, sorry!)

I have seen so, so many questions, posts, journals, etc, about organ donation during my time on cafemom. I have seen so, so many women who are misinformed, who think they know what's what, who then unintentionally misinform others, and so on and so forth. I've been following this blog for a while, and the most recent entry said "share this" to me. So I'm sharing it - but I'm doing so anonymously because it's not my story in any way, shape, or form, and I don't want to "take credit" for any of it. I'm just sharing it because of one easily overlooked paragraph in this particular entry, concerning orgain donation:

"SUPPORT ORGAN DONATION.  If you live in Maryland, please go to this website and designate yourself as a donor.  You can even specify what you are willing to donate.  Simply being a donor on your driver's license is not enough.  Filling out this information helps people make decisions more quickly so that organs can be harvested in appropriate time.  It means that family members do not have to make the decision at a horrific time in their lives.  Please consider being a donor."

Now I didn't include the link she has for her state, but EVERY state has their own, and they are very easily googled. Please, I beg, take just a minute - it really doesn't take much longer - and find your state's online registry, because not only can you fill yours out, you can pick & choose what you do & don't want donated, and you can also state if you sadly do not want anything donated - and your wishes are guaranteed - I've seen it first hand, it really works.

I also ask that you please vote this popular so that more people can see it. Re-post it if you wish (but please, don't take credit for writing any of this if you do share it). April is, among other things, Organ Donation Awareness month.

I am all for donating organs.  I hope to donate my entire body to science as my Mom did when she died last October.  It is so senseless to me to waste something that could save a life.  We don't need our bodies anymore after we die.  The body isn't what's important anyway; it's the soul inside.

Sorry, there's the link to the blog - I spaced it out :S. And it's the caringbridge site, not her actual blog - she has both but more of it is on caringbridge than her blog.

I have advanced liver disease as a result of hepatitis B contracted through a blood transfusion.I have been in 4 comas and have even died for a few moments.I have been waiting for a liver now for 4 years and so have lots of other people.17 people die every day waiting. Please become an organ donor, and make sure your family knows your wishes because,at least in my state, you cannot be a donor without family consent no matter what you've signed.Save a life.Be an organ donor.

Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the 2011 jordans 13 was released in 1997 and inspired by the panther due to the similarities between this powerful cat and Jordan’s movements on the hardwood. When the air jordan 2011 13 was being thought up, Michael and Hatfield did not have a meeting before they drew up designs. The new air jordan shoes 13 is composed by EVA-backed full-grin quilted leather upper and Innovate hidden lacing system.
