I had an HSG done Febraury 8th 2011 then started Clomid 50mgs the following cycle. I ended up w/ OHSS (Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome) My ovaries swelled 2X larger than normal and were packed FULL of mature follie's but none got out because I also had a cyst on each ovary just as large as my ovaries were. =( I took last cycle off to recover and got a new doctor now he wants me to try Clomid again this cycle. I'm kind of worried that the same thing will happen as before so I've decieded cut the pill in half and start myself w/ 25mgs instead of the prescribed 50mgs. This is ultimatly one of the hardest things I've ever been through but I guess TTC we'll do almost anything.

Have you tried NOT having sex? I know crazy right? Try going a few weeks WITHOUT sex or your SO masterbating. Doing this will cause a build up of semen.

This worked for us twice. It can be fun plus think about how great the sex will be after those weeks.

Well, I'm on Clomid because I dnt ovulate. My last test put my progesterone level at 5.6, we're required to have sex at least every other day so now its becoming a chore =S Thanks for leaving a comment and I'll keep that in mind, for when I'm not ovulating. It'll probably work =)

Started new round of Clomid yesterday, days 3-7 and split the pill in half 25mgs. So far its going ok. I've had a headache but its not too bad. Also I'm taking the pill a few hours b4 bed. I'm not sure if I'll get pregnant or even Ovulate on this low of a dose but if not there's always next month... =) Also my follow up appointment is on my B-Day so I'm praying for a miracle.
