  Lois Land and Clarks slowly developed a relationship over the years; from complete strangers to romantic lovers, Lois Lane is a journalist for the Daily Planet. After five years of friendship with Clark, they fall in love and she becomes Clark Kent's fiancee.  She first appears in Season 4 "Crusade," when she arrives in Smallville to investigate the death of her cousin Chloe. She meets Clark for the first time when he falls from the sky and is found naked in a corn field. She wraps a red blanket around him (iconic for his future cape) and begins their relationship.

I found Clark and Lois relationship to be romantic. He saves her and really cares for her.  I really enjoy the story line that develops over the years in regards to their relationship.  Their destined relationship began when they met at the beginning of his Senior of high school when Lois found Clark lying naked in the middle of Miller's friend. They often bickered but despite these disputes, Lois and Clark have been shown to care a lot about each other. They gradually fell in love months after Lois returned from the future. and from since then their relationship has gone through several milestones that has all led up to their current engagement.

Even while the two were just friends, more than one person has commented on their chemistry over the course of their friendship. When Oliver Queen began a romantic relationship with Lois, he half-jokingly commented that Clark masked his feelings for Lois with sarcasm due to the two of them living under the same roof for so long. Jimmy Olsen set them up for a date on Valentine's Day on the grounds that they had chemistry, yet Lois remained unconvinced describing their potential relationship hot fudge and halibut. A mystic called star later cryptically told Jimmy that she had a feeling that Lois and Clark's destines were more intertwined than anyone realized. Lois has also demonstrated a certain attraction for Clark on the three occasions where she has witnessed him openly using his powers, although she has always forgotten what she saw in the aftermath.
