What an adventure!! Never thought I would deliver him myself in the car!!

My water broke at about 2 am .. but I really wasn't feeling any contractions. I took a quick shower and when I got out I was noticing contractions about 5 to 6 mins apart. I called the Dr he said to head in. I called my mom and she headed to our house to watch the sleeping 2 kids. About 2:40 we left for the hospital ( 30 mins away) When we were pulling in the driveway I could feel his head right there and said I can't walk in you are going to have to go get someone!! He stopped in the entryway and ran inside .. I couldn't hold it any longer and knew I had to push .. so I did and could feel his head. Dad got back down before the nurse and saw and touched his head and ran back inside to tell the nurse to hurry .. at that point I pushed again and Brennden was here .. I picked him up and looked toward the doors and saw dad and the nurse coming out! He cried right away, the nurse helped me to the wheelchair and I carried him inside and up to my room. The doctor came in about 45 mins later and stitched me up, saying sorry he missed it.Because of his quick decent he has some facial brusing (shich is going away very nicely) and he was pretty gunky for the first day. He has finally brough up all of that yucky stuff and sounds great.We came home yesterday afternoon (5-14) and had a decent night and today has been great too. He is a good sleeper and a great nurser.
