Gastric Bypass

Well, my date is set for June 20 and I am soooo ready. It was set for May 31 but with my sons graduation coming up on June 3 that was a bit tooo close,lol.. I want to enjoy this with him and I dont want him worrying about me being in any pain or anything like that so i had it moved. Im not as nervous as I was, but I think thats because its atleast a month away. I cant wait for my new birthday as I like to call it. I have been researching, reading, trying on my own and really weighing my options since 2003 when my doctor brung it to me and said it may be a good option for me. I didnt jump and do it because its not something that you just sneeze at,lol so to speak. I am ready and cant wait for my change for the rest of my life. Well, thats all for now, ttyl!

What type of bypass are you getting?

Have you started your pre-education yet?

RNY/Gastric Bypass, no i havent started it yet, they havent told me too.  It was set for the 31st of May but my sons graduation was too close to that (June 3rd) so we moved it. I am assuming they will get me started with that in June..
