Exciting updates in groups!

Exciting stuff is happening in groups! You might have already noticed that we've made some layout changes in many of our groups. Why? We wanted to simplify things so you can easily find what you're looking for!

So, here's what's changed:

• We've moved the group navigation (the green links that used to appear on the left side of every page) up to the top of the page, and highlighted only the ones that are used most often. This way, it's easier to get to the group homepage, forums, and photos, and you can navigate through groups with multiple forums faster.
• We've also added some new sections in the right column to highlight the newest, freshest, and most interesting stuff that's going on in the group.

 

There's also a cool new feature called My Group Activity, which is a dashboard that appears at the top right of every group page  that will help you keep track of your conversations in each of your groups.

 

The My Posts and My Replies links will include a "NEW" flag when someone has posted a new reply to a post you started or replied to. The My Replies list even includes a handy direct link to your last reply in each post, so you can jump right back in to the conversation where you left off. My Friends is a brand-new feature that highlights your friends' posts within the group.

These changes have also made more space for your conversations. The main part of the page is now slightly wider, and forum posts appear higher on the page -- woohoo for less scrolling! And even more exciting, they give us the flexibility to add more cool stuff in the future -- be on the lookout for featured photo albums and contests, group challenges, and more!
