Colter was bitten today

I took him to the Burger King to play in the playplace thingy and a little boy bit him on the toe, not so hard to draw blood but hard enough that he was screaming. And the very first thing the adults with him say is "Did Doolan bite?" Like this isn't new for him. The boy's mom just took him out, supposidly spanked his butt and let him go back to play.

I was upset and saying(quietly) to my neice that that is unacceptable, you don't bring a kid that bites out to be around other kids in public and I guess they got tired of hearing me complain and the mom says "did he draw blood?"  So, I rolled my eyes at her and said, "no, he didn't draw blood."  so, I guess the grandmother, turns around and says "look, he's only 2." So, I say "LOOK, I'm not calling the police or taking him to the hospital OR ANYTHING, I'm just sitting here. TURN AROUND, it's over"  and she tried to say something to me again and I said "turn around". She got all indignant and was like "I'm not gonna turn around." but she was already turned around!!!  So my niece and I just laughed at her, but it was like laugh at her or go off on her, so we laughed......

so how would yall handle this situ?
