Things are tight all over with the ecomomy these are just someways that I have cut back expenses and hope others will share tips also.
1. We do not eat out, period. For one meal for a family of 4 for it cost us around 20 to eat out, by cooking at home I can get 2 meals for that price.
2. I shop for grocerys once a month now, and that is at our local Sam's club. I am happy to say by doing this I cut my grocery bill in half. By buying the family packs and making good use of our freezer it saves a ton.
3. Finding free entertainment for my family. The park is free, fishing is free (we dig up our own worms) Going to grandma's to her pool, free. The library.
4. Opening windows and not using the a/c as much during the summer, turning off all unused lights around the house. My clothes line. It has cut our power bill in half by just doing these simple steps.
5. Our garden, by growing our own food and then canning and using our freezer we have expensive veggies during the winter.
6. Making my own cleaning products and my own beer. Plus making my own beer is fun to boot. :-)
7. The dollar store for things such as shampoo, and photo paper.
8. Making gifts for friends and family. With just my crochet hook I can make things that really they say wow you made this.
Well those are just some of my tips.
Would love to hear your ideas on ways to save money.
Comments:
Don't get drawn into the Dollar Store ripoff. You can get $1 shampoo at Walmart or Walgreens in a much larger bottle and you'll often pay a dollar for things that are 65 cents at the drugstore.
The United States has stepped up drone attacks since U.S. special forces killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden on May 2 in the Pakistani city of Abbottabad.
U.S. officials have never publicly acknowledged the use of drones inside Pakistan, but have privately confirmed the strikes to various news outlets.
I paid $32.67 for a XBOX 360 and my mom got a 17 inch Toshiba laptop for $94.83 being delivered to our house tomorrow by FedEX. I will never again pay expensive retail prices at stores. I even sold a 46 inch HDTV to my boss for $650 and it only cost me $52.78 to get. Here is the website we using to get all this stuff, BuzzPenny.com
