My brother is in jail because of me!

So a few weeks ago I go into Dollar General store and on the way out I come across a couple that has what seems to be everything they own in a car with their two children. They tell me they were just put out of their home and have no money and needed gas to get to their family's house in the next state over. In the truck is plenty of items they are selling so I see a XBOX 360 (we have one but two could be great) so they said hey we will sell you this game for $100 so I thought to myself wow what a deal. I brought it along with a coffee pot( I dont drink coffee) and a microwave. about a week ago I was a little short on my light bill so I told me husband to pawn the game until I get paid. Since my husband lost his DL he called me brother to pawn the game for him guess what today we found out that it was stolen. OMG they have him on three charges and I dont know what to do. I cant even begin to tell you what they looked like I'm not good with cars all I know is that it was green. my brother is in jail and its all my fault. they havent even given him a bond so I cant bail him out. what do i do. I feel so bad so confused and hurt that my brother was trying to help us out and i just thought that it was a deal i mean i knew that i was cashing in on this family's misfortunate thats why i paid more then they asked for never would have guessed that it would turn out like this. I dont know what to do i dont know what to say

Geez this is terrible, my husband said," maybe Dollar General has a camera that they could get a picture of that car?!" Also, have you talked to the police to tell them what happened?  Seems strange they haven't posted his bond yet? I feel for ya, if that were my sister I would be freaking out! Good luck sweetie, this is one of those very unfortunate situations!

I feel for you on this, in todays time people cannot be trusted, i know they had children with them making it look like they were a normal family, but i guess i would say unless you know the person or people, sadly, i say, "DON'T TRUST ANYONE". I'm hoping things workout for you and your Brother!!
