In business there is always conflict. This can sometimes be a good thing as it can prompt change for the better even if it is painful. Change usually is painful somewhere. I know my staff thinks I'm being unreasonable about some of the tasks I insist on getting done. They want to reinvent the wheel which usually means they think it is just too much work to do it right. I'm ok with mistakes a couple time that are repeated but eventually I expect the job to be done without constant help from me.
I had to re-evaluate the team and have a talk with everyone about recent short comings in the work. I don't like confrontation but some didn't like what I had to say but I tried to not get into a criticize/defend pattern. It's always interesting. Hopefull it is ironed out now and we can move forward.
