Have you thought about taking shots of your work against a black background? It may add less distraction.

Thank you!  I had not considered using black, I'll have to pull out some of my fabric and try it out.  I wasn't sure how it might look, but it definitely would be worth a try.  Thanks for the feedback and the suggestion :)
