How is the Journals Group different from any other group?

I just peeked at it, out of curiosity, to see if it could in any way replace the Journals Section, and found that it looks just like every other group out there.

So, how is it different from all the other mega-groups? And more importantly, how is it anything like the Journals Section it supposedly replaces?

It's a pretty poor substitute, in my opinion. It's like giving someone a dusty old prune and telling her it tastes just like fine chocolate.

Right! Agreed.

The thing I don't get...is why take away Journals to ADD Journals (in a format that is bad)? Grrr!

It is nothing the same and CM trying to pass it off as such just adds insult to injury.

It would be nice to start a campaign to bring them back, but with them gone, how would be get the word out?  I had mentioned, in someone's journal, that if we could organize enough moms, we should go to each and every sponsor with our complaints.  Maybe they would threaten to pull advertising out if CM didn't reinstate journals.  Organizing is the problem because it seems most are so apathetic about the whole thing.
