Julia has had some issues with her legs/feet since she started walking. She walked very pigeon-toed and still does but it's gotten better on it's own but we've been noticing a problem with her legs beginning to bow out from the knee down. We had to have x-rays done a few weeks ago and after about 45 minutes and 4 people trying to hold down a 17 month old they were finally able to determine that she should go to a specialist. Because our insurance covers doctors in Pennsylvania and not Ohio (where we live) it makes it more difficult to find a doctor. We are hopeful to get this resolved soon while she is still young enough to not remember since I would be devasted for her to have to wear some sort of corrective while she is in school. The doctors aren't very concerned because they don't notice it having any ill-effects on her now aside from the fact that she trips over her own feet more frequently. I'm more concerned since she is my daughter and I want for her to be healthy and happy. We are just remaining hopeful that the Ortho will correct the issue with ease so that she can continue to grow into a happy and healthy little girl!
