The kids are back to school today

It is so quiet in this house.  I always wish for some quiet time to myself but now I have it and I'm not sure I like it.  I guess I'm sad about more then being here alone today...  My oldest son Jared is 17 and this is his last year of high school.  He seems like he's grown up already and I know it wont be long and he'll be gone.  I miss him already.  My youngest son Riley is 14 and he's in 8th grade so next year he'll be in high school and he wont be just around the corner at the middle school he can walk to.  My sensitive boy will be going to a high school where kids can be so mean.  I wish they didn't have to grow up. 

Well, I have a lot of time to get some things done here.  I have a lot of time to finish crocheting the baby blanket for my niece's baby and to make that new shower curtain for my bathroom.
