It is now the time of year for college students to cram their things into the family car and head to their new adventure... for some students, this has been an ongoing thing since they are not college freshman anymore.
I just have to shake my head at some of my friends who are actually boo-hooing as their child returns to school for their junior and senior years. I honestly am just about to lose my lunch.
Are they sooo identified by their children that they cannot let them become the strong adults we want them to be.. .we have been striving for them to be?
Also, some of these Moms are also ones who will be moving their younger children in for their freshman year... yes, the earth will stop.
I just cannot stand the unnecessary stress they are projecting onto their children with this right of passage. I am sure when their "baby" started to walk they did not become depressed but shouted in elation of how they met this milestone.
Isn't college the same thing? Wait until they announce they want to live in another state or country when they get a "real job"
