Cauldron cupcakes

                   Cauldron Cupcakes

These chocolate Halloween cupcakes are brewing up trouble. Licorice handles, a pudding filling, and green decorating gel make these cauldron cupcakes quite the sight.

To make the cupcake, follow these steps:

    1. Hollow out the center of a chocolate cupcake to form a cauldron.

    2. Ice around the crevice and sides of the cupcake with chocolate frosting; cover in chocolate cookie crumbs.

    3. Fill the top opening with green-dyed vanilla pudding, then decorate with green gel, an array of green sprinkles, and a few pieces of small green candy.

    4. Bend a small strip of licorice from one side of the cupcake to the other to form the cauldron's handle. Add a chocolate stick stirrer, if desired.

                  Jack-o'-Lantern Brew

A chilly mix of vanilla yogurt, orange juice, and orange soda makes this Halloween-worthy jack-o'-lantern brew. Festive goblets also add spooky Halloween flair.

Editor's Tip: To make jack-o'-lantern glasses, print out face patterns and tape to the inside of goblets. Paint the faces with a blackdimensional paint pen. Use a sharp pencil to gently "pull" the paint to create sharp corners and straight edges.

Green cheese balls

Moldy Cheese Balls

These green cheese balls look past their prime, but their "mold" is just an herb coating that adds to the flavor. When plated with plastic spiders, they really achieve a gross-out appearance.

Wishing all of you a Happy and Safe Halloween!
