I just wanted to update everyone on what is going on with Justin and I as of late. On Sunday, April 10, 2011 we went to the hospital for some spotting issues. I had just turned 13 weeks and had seen our baby just April 1 so the doctor thought maybe a clot behind the baby or something similar. Well they finally got me an ultrasound, and then we learned from the doctor our baby didn't have a heart beat and had stopped growing around 12.5 weeks. I had a missed miscarriage.
Justin and I were able to say goodbye to our angel, whom we have named Charli.
So now we are coping with our loss and having to lean on each other more so then normal and it has brought us alot closer.
When Justin and I lost our angel, Charli, we wanted to put off having any more babies for atleast a year. Well Heavenly Father had different plans for us. We are now in our second trimester with our beautiful rainbow baby. On Tuesday we got to have a ultrasound and see the baby again! The baby is growing right on track and had a wonderful heartbeat at 153. We are due March 27, and are very excited to meet this tiny new person. Justin and I are very excited about this baby, and are taking things day by day.
Now I must brag on my wonderful husband:
Justin has been an amazing source of strength for me for the past few months. He has been an amazing cook since the smells bother me, he has always been an amazing dad which I count as a very large blessing, he also has been very good about satisfying my craving even though he doesn't like Mexican food LOL He has also there for me emotionally, as we have both been dealing with our recent loss of Charli, it has been truly difficult this past 2 weeks on me, and Justin has been there when I needed him, and he has always been able to make me laugh no matter what :) I am a very blessed person and can see it even more as we go through the struggles life throws at us. I love you very much Justin and thank you for being my rock, and my personal comedy skit :)
We are now 20 weeks along with our second son whom we are naming Jayden. Mali was released from the Special Needs preschool he has been in since Nov 2010 because he has met all his goals and there is nothing he can work on through them. I am a super proud mommy but at the same time worried about him regressing again.
This is all I can think of for now but I will try to keep the journal more updated :)
