The past 6 monts have been a trying time for my family.  First, my posistion was eliminated, leaving me unemployed. I have been looking for another teachingt postions but it hasn't been working. There are no jobs in my certification area in a 5 district, 2 county range.  Then, I found out I was preggers.  Yep, again. With number 5, no less.  We are already packed tightly in our little Dodge Caliber as it is. My marriage was very rocky, on the border of a complete collaspe. Then, Tris, my currently youngest got really sick in August and spent a couple of days in the hospital with reactive airway disorder while people tried to throw the a-word (asthma) around.  Did I already say I lost my job and with it our insurance in May?  So then, we tried to get Medicaid and it's really, really hard. We long got rid of extras, like cable and internet, our Verizon plan for a much more economic Sprint one, the house phone, etc. No eating out, no vacation, no fun. 

But we are making it, and that's what matters most.

The kids aren't feeling the pinch too much because their wonderful grandparents bought their school clothes and one of my childless besties has "adopted" them again for Christmas. 

So my wonderful new neighboor gives me the passcode to her router and now I'm back online.  I've started doing online surveys to earn giftcards so I can get the kids some clothes.  And then, I got this survey from CM that said I could win a $25 Amazon GC. Well, guess what? I won it! I know it was random and the  CM team didn't single me out but I appreciate it so much. It's like an early birthday present! I don't even know what to get. Maybe something for me or something for the new little one.  I don't know. I don't even know what to get.  It's been so long since I got something for me.

on your WIN and on your PREGNANCY!! Take care of YOU!! With number 5 on the way and all your family has been through recently (glad all is well now with your little one)...I bet you haven't done ANYTHING for YOU! Now you have a chance...take it! ENJOY!! Hope things get turned around soon for you all! ;-)
