The Holy Grail

Remember when Cabbage Patch dolls first came out and they were really hard to get? I do. My niece was a baby and they were impossible to find. What about Tickle Me Elmo? Glenn was a baby then. You'd have to sell your soul to get your hands on one of those. More recently, Missoni at Target? Yeah good luck with that one.

This yarn is sort of like that. Sanguine Gryphon has a colorway called Blue Lobster that everyone covets. I went onto their site to be notified when they had more in stock. Before I even got the email my Twitter knitter friend, Sharri, Tweeted that Blue Lobster was in stock. I could not get to that site fast enough. I only ordered one skein of Skinny Bugga but it's enough to make something gorgeous.

Isn't it beautiful? The color is so rich. As good as the photo is, and it is good believe me, it doesn't do this yarn justice. Just one problem. What to make? I think I'm going to find a nice hat to make Glenn for Christmas. I can't wait to knit this up!
