Just Another Manic Monday... :(

As they say, "When it rains, it pours.", and right now I'm flooded. Not literally, but figuratively. My dog has been real sick and hasn't eaten anything for about two weeks or more. My dh noticed yesterday that the whole side of his mouth is infected, I looked this morning after making a call to his vet and saw that his canine tooth is black. Right now he is at the vet. They placed him on an iv because they say he's dehydrated, which is odd because he's constantly drinking water. Don't know how much longer he'll be around. He might pass on tonight or he may go during the surgery, only the Lord knows.
Another thing that happened today was directly after my Monday class at college, as I was heading towards the bus stop to go home and be with my Taco before he went to his vet appointment, the right back tire blew. My dh checked the local medical supply stores don't carry the size to fit my first power wheel chair because it's so old. I've been using it since the start of the college spring term because the one I got from The Scooter Store (which we're still paying on) the plugs both the male and female part have burned out so I can't recharge the battery on it. We have called The SS and we're still waiting for them to come and fix the problem. I actually prefer the older one because I call it my Hum V because it proved itself up in OR it went over and thru almost anything and everything and I'm sitting more stable on it. Instead of having a just a half circle to place my feet it has foot bars like my manual chair has. In hind site I should have just spent the money on new batteries instead of buying a whole new one, but unfortunately you can't change the past. Could of, should of, would have, but didn't at the time. ;D
