I can't believe she did this...

I didn't catch my bus to college today and when I got back home after checking out a shopping plaza I hadn't been too in quite a while and when I got back home my dh and dd were pulling right in behind me. My dd came to the door with tears in her eyes and when I asked my hubby what was wrong he told me she was suspended from school for pulling down her pants giving the excuse that her dog was dead. I can understand her feelings because I still miss Taco as well but that's really no excuse for doing this. He was her guardian and friend since the day she was born, kinda like an adopted older brother. I'm just as upset because he was my protector, helper, companion and kinda like a son. I also feel a tinge of guilt cause I saved his life twice, once from the street and from going to the pound, but I couldn't save him a third. I know it couldn't be helped because of his age but I'm not doing what my dd just did. I also understand she's just 7 1/2 but in four mo. she will be 8 and pulling down her pants in public is NOT something we taught her and what she pulled today was entirely unacceptable and it makes her family look bad as if we haven't taught her the difference between right and wrong.

I'm sorry. I hope you've had time to speak with her...I'm sure she's very embarrassed and sorry she did that. I'm sorry about Taco too. ;(
