May you receive more and more covenant grace and peace in the Name of
our Lord Jesus Christ the Anointed Savior!
We have all had times when the Lord called us to do something, but we
didn't respond with cheerful, joyful, and prompt obedience. We allowed
our unenlightened and limited carnal reasoning to talk us into
disobedience. Why is that? We gave in to fear and not trusting God with
the unknowns.
Look at the testimony about Abraham. Hebrews 11:8 says, "[Urged on] by
faith Abraham, when he was called, obeyed and went forth to a place
which he was destined to receive as an inheritance; and he went,
although he did not know or trouble his mind about where he was to go."
Abraham trusted God with the unknowns. The scripture says that he didn't
know exactly where God was calling him to, but he didn't allow his lack
of knowledge to stop him. Abraham trusted God's perfect knowledge and
that was enough to quicken his faith that led to obedience.
What keeps you from following the call of God is depending on what
"makes sense". However, if you think about it, nothing about the Kingdom
of God makes sense according to merely human, natural, and carnal ways.
It doesn't make sense to tithe and give offerings. It doesn't make sense
to bless your enemies. It doesn't make sense to pray in tongues. It
doesn't make sense to praise God in the midst of a battle. It doesn't
make sense to believe in Jesus as your Savior. However, the Scriptures
say, "For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are
perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God ... It
pleased God through the foolishness of what we preach to save those who
believe ... For the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the
weakness of God is stronger than men ... But God chose what is foolish
in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to
shame the strong; God chose what is low and despised in the world, even
things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are" (1 Corinthians
1:18-28). The ways of God's Kingdom and the realm of the Spirit don't
make sense to the natural mind. However, ignorant human reasoning
doesn't diminish their reality or dominion. The Kingdom of God is more
real than anything in this natural realm. The spiritual principles that
govern God's Kingdom dominate the natural realm and they work perfectly
when you put them to work through trust and obedience.
I have included a link below to a service where a prophetic Word from
the Lord was spoken about 2012. Watch it, hear, and receive what God is
saying to you and calling you to. Agree with God's plan for you to have
the best in every area of your life.
