When Abbie was teething I had tried so many things that did not help until I found the best treatment. I was able to bring the trick back out with Elizabeth. The trick is to take a clean baby sock, not ankle sock, place an ice cube in it, tie the top of it, smash the ice cube into smaller chunks, and put a little water on it. The baby is able to hold the knotted end, suck the melted water out the end, and chew on the ice. Elizabeth was crying today and I tried the trick for the first time. She loved it so much she even choose it over her cookie. Then you just untie it and throw it in the washer to clean it. Free, easy, quick, and amazing at numbing those sore gums.
