Who could have thought of a more peaceful, family oriented and obviously kid friendly place to explore comfortably, where adults can have as much fun as the children. Dewberry Farms certainly has the blueprint! A dedicated two hours turned into a few hours once we were inside, where we were immediately greeted by things to do from pony rides, Crackle Palace and Little Farmersville.

When I was finally able to peel my three year old away from Little Farmersville, as there was so much more to explore, we headed over to the Mattie's Kitchen for some great food; while we powered up to continue our Dewberry Farm Journey. I pause to say that your child and your inner child will, without a doubt stop at Hay Mountain and it will be your desire to stay there all day-but you must not stop. Keep on the trail. There's zip lines, roller slides, jumping pillows, pedal cars, rat racers and sport ball zone within eye view. I know, sensory overload. One amazing place to let your hair down and run with the wind.

Men and women, families and couples along the way shared a common sentiment with regard to the atmosphere that has been created at Dewberry Farm, and that was that it is somewhere a kid can be a kid. Dewberry Farms is place of kindred spirits that reminded me of the down home country that holds my roots. Before it was all over- I found myself on my back, laying in a bed of hay in a pumpkin patch looking up at the sky, listening to melodies of childhood fun and laughter embraced by Christmas trees and the sunset. My child in tow, I forgot about tomorrow. I found a needle in a haystack!

As a parent, we are constantly looking for things to do that will hold our child's attention while providing some kind of educational value. We are searching for experiences that they can indulge in where they have just as much fun as a learning opportunity. We want to give our children a meaningful childhood where they are allowed to just be children of course but we hope that they can take something away from it even if it's lasting memories. This is the place to do it. Dear moms and dads- When thinking about great family fun to include everyone, please make a visit to Dewberry Farms a priority before the year ends. There's plenty of parking, the weather is perfect and the time is now. -)
