So I bought these jeans on the internet, right...

So now that the weight has been dropping off(finally) I knew I needed some new jeans.  My sister ( who is ten years younger than I) used to order clothes from a company that provides jeans in long lengths...so I couldnt miss, right?! Didnt know they "run small"...

The jeans came... size seven.....37" inseam... beautiful! I look at them a bit closer.... and I notice that the waist is comparable to the size of my ten year old daughter...hmmmm....

Tim says.."Go try them on!", being way more excited than I because apparently the jeans I have been wearing make me look like I may have a "load" in the back...(Thanks honey...I love you too)

So there I am, in the bedroom, jumping up and down... Gage is crawling in the room to see whats going on.... he looks a tad scared.( I dont know if it was my jumping and huffing, or if it was him thinking I was not seriously going to try and wear those in public)

So I got them on.. almost.. then there was the showdown... it was the jeans... or the underwear..... yup.... one or the other.... hhmmmmmm.....

A few minutes later Tim walks in to see whats taking so long..... looks at me...says... " they look really good" , turns to pick up Gage who is making a fast dash to my pretty undies... picks him up.. looks back at me with a raised eyebrow....

I calmly say," It was them or the jeans.... the jeans won."

May. 10, 2007 at 6:02 PM I know the feeling, as soon as I healed up from the c-section I was in my box of old jeans everyday trying a different pair on. the honey they look good is so a load of crap when you have a muffin top belly hanging over, and your butt crack is hanging out like a 14yr old in hip hugger give me a break, I took it back to the mom pants and got over it, I do fit in some of the jeans now I guess time is the way to go.

Victoria Secret has a wonderful line of jeans that are long and very generous with their sizes. I am able to buy a few sizes smaller when I order from them and it always makes me feel good. :)

 I also have a hard time finding jeans that are long enough. When you order though them, you have a choice to get them long.
