best mother's day ever

Well the last four mother's day have not been nearly as exciting as this years. Well the first three we were in the military and had no money so we would just look at each other and said Happy Mother's Day or Happy Father's Day. The fourth year just getting out of the Marines and still no money. This year my husband and kids spoiled me. Friday night I got a pair of earrings to match a necklace I have. Saturday we went to the Walk for Life and walked two miles as a family then went out to breakfast and then I got to go buy an outfit for myself ( I just recently lost 30 lbs so I have no clothes that fit). Then Sunday I woke up to Starbucks then for dinner we got Subs from Subway and my two angels got me flowers from Sam's Club with their allowances. Since I have been staying home money has been tight but now that we do not have to pay childcare anymore we have a little extra so going out to eat  is something we do on special occasions and buying myself clothes is always last when it comes to my kids. I want my kids to have everything they need so I go and so does my husband goes without so we can give our kids what they want and need.  I am thankful this year we had a little extra so I could get spoiled and hopefully when Father's Day comes around I can spoil my hubby the same way.
